We believe that organizations must play a leading role in the much needed Transformation towards a regenerative society in which people, nature and economy can evolve in harmony and complement each other.

hey there! Turning a sheet of paper into a booklet is super simple. Just download the pdfs of the booklets, print them (preferably A4) and fold them.

Fold along the lines

Fold and tear along the dotted line (or cut with scissors)

Open and fold lengthwise

Press inwards from both sides

Looks good 🙂

we're in this together - and the only way we'll get out again is together.

We enjoy talking about solutions.

As practitioners, we have continuously sharpened our antennae over the years and learned to view organizations holistically. One key insight: transformation always radiates into the most diverse areas of a company, regardless of how you approach it.

In this spirit, we are listeners and inquirers, sparring partners, guides and companions, providers of ideas and impulses, speedboat pilots and co-architects of regenerative transformations.

Wherever you want to go, it's best not to go alone. How about a conversation as a first step? Without fancy suits and hidden intentions, but full of curiosity and unfiltered thoughts.

Let's talk.

Unleash creativity in the team

🤔 How does a technology group sensitize its employees to their creative potential so that they become capable of recognizing and directly realizing potential for improvement in their specialist areas?

➡️ In a series of online workshops, teams explore the dimensions of creativity and practice thinking across disciplines, connecting the seemingly unrelated, breaking conventions, and articulating their thoughts.

#Creativity #Innovation #KVP

💌 "Through the workshops, I learned completely new approaches and ventured into unfamiliar territory for me. I look forward to trying out my new recipes in everyday life."

Story #1

The transformation question

🤔 Why is it done that way? Couldn't it be done differently?

In social projects, an evaluation is often done by an independent company to measure the impact achieved. Typically, before and after are compared and a long report is written at the end.

➡️ People involved in the project dare to question the status quo of the evaluation standard. As a result, a new procedure is defined with the implementing company and approved by the project's sponsors. Instead of a long project report at the end, the evaluation results are published promptly in comprehensible language and in an attractive presentation on the project website.

💌 "The redesigned evaluation process is a resounding success, both for the participants and for the company commissioned with the evaluation. It leads to a general reflection and redesign of the evaluation logic there."

In a world where Check-in happens not just at the airport, but in our daily interactions, transformation is a game-changer. For you, for me, for all of us. This is about change, evolution, maybe even a fresh start, and certainly about how companies, teams and people are reinventing themselves to all come together.

"New Work" is the approach that is revolutionizing the way we work. What do you really, really want to do? Not M, G and Easy V asked this question first, but OG Frithjof Bergmann. It's about freedom, flexibility and meaningfulness, in work and beyond. Get your act together, we could be just fine.

The foundation for personal development is to look inward. Inner Work - OM AH HUM! Anyone who wants to develop must make mistakes. Who wants to make mistakes, has to dare something. Who wants to dare something, leaves his comfort zone. From development to comfort zone, classic reverse engineering. FAIL stands for "First Attempt in Learning", which undoubtedly sounds better than "Fehlversuch Als Initiale Lernerfahrung", but basically means the same thing.

Time for a retrospective, in short: Retro, as we agile organizational developers, coaches, practitioners, consultants and know-it-alls say mindfully, transparently and at eye level. Looking at the past in order to learn for the future. This is where organizational culture (also: company culture or corporate culture) comes into play. Ever heard of psychological safety ? It's like that invisible bubble wrap for your feelings giving you the courage to tell your boss you accidentally sent that cat meme to the entire company email list and not being afraid a sudden "Purrrformance Review" will scare your sanity away. 😸

Leadership is no longer just a matter for the bosses, but can be found in each and every one of us. Shared leadership, distributed authority, self-organizationunbossing - flat hierarchies wear many garments; common are roles with purpose and specific responsibilities that are shaped by consent within the framework of governance . ConsenT be designed. Sociocracy? Holacracy? Or simply sympathy for alternative organizational charts? The employees slip into different roles Rollers and thus take over the Responsibility for the corresponding areas. We are all a bit of a boss, but without Jekami: taking responsibility not only has a beginning, but also an end. Good enough for now, safe enough to try.

In the sense of the Transparency, trust and agility, this should not go unmentioned: Transformation is a question of attitude. What is the attitude behind our actions? What values form the backbone of our attitude? Dear patients, forget Dr. Google, this is about self-diagnosis.

To conclude effectively, efficiently, and honestly, the vision is one of radical transformation, toward a world in which metrics are no longer defined solely by revenue spectacles. In this world, social and environmental costs are no longer externalized without hesitation. The transformation to a world in which Circular economy or even regenerative economy its pioneers. People and organizations that are not content to do no more harm, but instead focus their actions on fixing what is broken. Responsibility, Participation, courage - the ingredients of the folklore of the future. Goodbye shareholder value, hello Responsibility property. This is the way.

Pascal Dulex

develops organizations, teams and songs

As a Transformation Architect, Pascal is empowering organizations to break free from outdated behaviors and become agents of change, rethinking success and leaving behind a positive impact on society and the environment.

Pascal started out in the late nineties with a stint in professional sports as a foil fencer. He then worked for a decade in communications agencies in Zurich and London before joining Freitag in 2010 as Brand Manager and later taking on the role of Head of Innovation.

In the course of a radical organizational change, Pascal increasingly slipped into the role of an organizational developer. As a „Culture Coach" he dealt with questions of corporate culture and leadership, and as "Creative Director" with the holy grail of brand identity for the Swiss-based bag and clothing label.

Believing that business must be a driving force for societal change, he co-founded 'Transformation Architects' in 2022 with a clear mission: to inspire and support organizations in understanding and tackling the opportunities and challenges of transformation.

In addition, he has been a multi-instrumentalist and singer for 25 years. Most recently he released some tracks as a singer/songwriter.

Pascal is married, has three daughters, a cat and six chickens. Away from Transformation Architects, you can meet him on his bike, in the studio or at the bar.

Sam Schneider

has a Master of Arts degree in civil disobedience

Depending on his mood, Sam is a challenger, designer, workshopper, gardener by passion, alley worker, hobby musician or computer engineer. He enjoys getting to the bottom of problems in order to be able to create something new, sometimes introverted, sometimes extroverted, usually in co-creation and rarely alone.

Most of all, he likes to break new ground and together with others learn to build economic futures piece by piece as they finally make sense again for people and nature.

Sam has a Master of Arts degree in civil disobedience, is focused on impact, and resolutely avoids bureaucracy and power games. He is constantly searching for the sweet spot between new opportunities and time-tested values, be it through new products, services, digital transformations or new brands.

He has failed successfully time and time again in his professional career. At times due to impatience, at times due to misjudgements, and often in the context of impossibly outdated corporate cultures. Thus, his inner motivation has remained unbroken and occasional bright spots give him hope to try again and again.

One thing is certain: The economy needs completely new incentives and objectives so that we can reclaim it for all of us and thrive in it together. With the Transformation Architects, Sam has found fellow comrades who have already proven many times that it is possible to approach things in a fundamentally different way and to change them.

Daniel Friday

is a creator of jobs and ideas

Daniel is a bag maker, truck tarpaulin recontextualizer, designer, founder, developer, representative, sometimes dilettante, cyclist, father and climber. After a four-year apprenticeship as a graphic designer from 1988 to 1992, he worked as a freelance graphic designer for various advertising agencies in Zurich.

When in 1993 there were no bicycle messenger bags to buy in Switzerland, he decided to sew some himself together with his brother Markus. In 2003, the TOP CAT model was included in the design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA). In 2014, they gifted themselves with F-ABRIC, a new raw material: textiles made from bast fibers, developed from scratch by themselves, made in Europe.

Today, FREITAG lab. ag with headquarters in Zurich Oerlikon is still owned by the Freitag brothers and employs around 250 people, operating 27 FREITAG stores worldwide.

These days, Daniel is not to be encountered in the FREITAG factory as often as he used to be. Instead, he passes on his experience from 30 years of entrepreneurial endeavors as co-founder of the "Transformation Architects". Or he incorporates them directly into the newly founded Cargovelo startup "Toolbike".
